TEAR DOWNS™

What is a Tear Down in Reloading?
In the context of ammunition reloading, a Tear Down (factory cull) refers to the practice of selecting and disassembling live ammunition components such as bullets, powder,  primers and brass.  Reusing most all of the components to reload and produce a new round.  Tear Downs are a great cost effective way to reuse a factory cull to produce a personal loaded round to the individual specs wanted.  Whether you’re a hobbyist or a professional shooter, understanding and applying the principles of reloading Tear Downs can enhance your reloading experience and overall shooting success.
